ABOUT
Erietta Constantinidou
Counselling Psychologist
I am Erietta Constantinidou, a Counselling Psychologist, and I see psychotherapy first and foremost as a human encounter.
My clinical experience includes therapeutic work with adults, adolescents, children, parents and couples, across a wide range of emotional, personal and relational difficulties.
Alongside this, I have developed research activity on contemporary issues of mental health and human behaviour, with a particular interest in nomophobia (no-mobile-phone phobia) and stalking. Nomophobia is an increasingly topical issue for children, adolescents and adults.
My scientific work also includes taking part in international scientific conferences, where I present research and keep up with current developments in psychology.

MY PHILOSOPHY
Therapy is a process of understanding ourselves more deeply, which allows us to recognise our needs and make changes that are meaningful to us.
Our work begins with safety, trust and respect for each person and their own pace.
MY VALUES
The values that guide my work
- 01
Acceptance
Room for every person to be as they are, without needing to prove or hide anything.
- 02
Authenticity
A therapeutic relationship based on honesty, presence and genuine human connection.
- 03
Empathy
A genuine effort to understand each person’s experience, emotions and personal perspective.
- 04
Safety
A steady, confidential setting where personal experiences can be explored in private.
- 05
Respect for your pace
Respect for each person’s needs, boundaries and own pace within the therapeutic process.
THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
An approach that adapts to you
For me, the person-centred philosophy is the foundation of the therapeutic process, with an emphasis on authenticity, acceptance and building a meaningful therapeutic relationship. At the same time, systemic and psychodynamic perspectives enrich our understanding of the person, their relationships, and the experiences and patterns that shape how they experience the present.
- 01
Person-centred
The relationship, acceptance and authentic presence are at the centre.
- 02
Psychodynamic
We explore the experiences and patterns that link the past with the present.
- 03
Systemic
We see each person within the relationships and systems they belong to.
