When conversations often end in tension, misunderstanding or distance.

Expressing needs
When it is hard for both partners’ needs to be heard and understood.
- 05
Trust
When events or experiences have affected the sense of safety in the relationship.
- 06
Major changes
When a major life change affects the couple’s dynamics.
THE THERAPEUTIC PROCESS
A space where both sides can be heard
How we work together
Couples therapy offers a neutral space where both partners can express their experience and their needs.
Together we explore the patterns of communication and conflict that keep repeating and try to understand what lies behind them.
What you can expect
A setting where the aim is not to decide who is right or wrong, but to understand what is happening in the relationship and what is needed for more understanding and meaningful communication.
The therapeutic process is shaped around what the couple brings and their goals.

About me →Frequently Asked Questions
Do both partners need to take part?
Yes. Couples therapy relies on both partners taking part, so that the difficulties, needs and dynamics of the relationship can be explored together.
What issues can be discussed in couples therapy?
Couples therapy can focus on communication difficulties, recurring conflicts, emotional distance, trust, changes in the relationship and other issues that affect the connection between partners.
What if one partner is unsure about the process?
It is natural for two partners not always to start with the same feelings or expectations. Any concerns can be discussed openly in the first meeting, with no pressure to continue.
How often do couples sessions take place?
Frequency depends on the couple’s needs and is agreed at the start of the therapeutic process.
Is couples therapy suitable if we are considering separating?
Yes. The aim of couples therapy is not to decide whether a couple should stay together or separate. It can help explore the relationship, its difficulties and both partners’ needs, so that they can better understand what they want and how they wish to move forward.
Would you like to take the first step as a couple?
We can start with a first conversation and look at the next steps together.
