THE THERAPEUTIC PROCESS
A space where teenagers can express themselves in their own way
How we work together
Therapy creates a safe space where a teenager can talk about what is on their mind without feeling judged or scrutinised.
Therapy adapts to the child’s age, needs and own pace, while the parents’ involvement is shaped with clear boundaries and respect for the therapeutic relationship.
What you can expect
Stability, confidentiality and room for meaningful conversation about the thoughts, emotions, relationships and difficulties of adolescence.
The aim is for the teenager to gradually understand themselves better and develop more helpful ways of handling what they find difficult.

About me →Frequently Asked Questions
How are parents involved in the process?
During the therapeutic process, update meetings are held with the parents, with the teenager present, so that the teenager can be supported as well as possible, with respect for their privacy and autonomy.
How does confidentiality work in sessions with teenagers?
Everything discussed in sessions remains confidential, in line with the Code of Ethics and Conduct and the applicable legal framework. Communication with parents takes place in the teenager’s presence, with respect for their privacy and for what they choose to share during sessions, except in the cases provided for by the Code of Ethics and Conduct and the applicable legal framework.
How does the first meeting work?
The first meeting takes place with the parents, so that we can better understand the teenager’s needs, the reason for seeking support and the relevant background. After that, we agree the most suitable way to begin the therapeutic process with the teenager.
How often do sessions take place?
Frequency depends on the teenager’s needs and the therapeutic process, and is agreed when we start working together.
What if my teenager doesn’t want to come?
Psychotherapy is not something that can be imposed. It is important that teenagers choose to take part in the process themselves. An open, calm conversation with their parents can be a good first step.
Would you like to talk about what might be right for your teenager?
We can start with a first conversation and look at the next steps together.
